Deleting your MOOV account is permanent. Here is exactly what happens, so you can decide with the full picture.
What happens
How account deletion works
Deleted with your account
- •Your profile and profile photo, and the user record itself
- •All recorded activities and their raw GPS data
- •Event participations and group memberships (event and group counters are adjusted)
- •Your group posts, comments, likes, reviews, notifications and blocked-users list
- •Your ranking entries, achievements credit and route catalog access (you are removed from routes you had access to)
Anonymized, not deleted
- •Chat messages you sent stay in shared conversations, shown as "Deleted moover" — deleting them would corrupt the conversation for others
- •Events you hosted stay for their participants, attributed to a deleted account
- •Reports you filed stay for abuse-pattern review, with your identity removed
Retained records
Support communications are retained as an admin-only security and abuse-prevention record, with your display name cleared. Financial or transactional records would be kept where required by law — MOOV currently processes no payments from members.
