Safety Center

Adventure starts with safety

MOOV connects people in the real world. This center collects everything you need to move, meet and explore safely.

General safety

General safety

MOOV helps people connect in the real world. We design the platform to be welcoming and honest, but you are always responsible for making safe decisions — where you go, who you meet, and how you ride, hike or run.

Meeting people

Meeting people

  • •Meet in public places when appropriate, like known meeting points and event starts
  • •Tell someone where you are going and when you expect to be back
  • •Use judgment when meeting people you don't know
  • •Do not share unnecessary sensitive information, like your home address

Group rides and drives

Group rides and drives

  • •Always comply with local traffic laws and speed limits
  • •MOOV never encourages dangerous riding — and never rewards public-road speed racing
  • •Ride within your skill level and the conditions
  • •Report events or participants who organize dangerous behavior

Hiking and outdoor safety

Hiking and outdoor safety

  • •Check the weather before you leave
  • •Carry adequate water and understand the trail difficulty
  • •Bring appropriate equipment and inform someone of your plans
  • •Be prepared for limited mobile signal in remote areas

Location safety

Location safety

You control your location exposure. Activities are private by default, each activity has its own visibility setting (Only me, Friends, Crew only, Everyone), and location is only used while you record or check in — never to track you between activities. A feature to hide the exact start/end point of an activity is planned but not available yet.

Reporting

Every report goes to platform admins, confidentially — your identity is never shared with the person or content you report.

Blocking is not available yet — in the meantime, reports protect you: admins can restrict or remove accounts that break the Community Guidelines. For urgent situations, contact support directly.

Emergencies

MOOV is not an emergency service

In an emergency, always contact your local emergency services first. MOOV cannot summon help and is not monitored around the clock.

Save your local emergency number before you go, and share your plans with someone who is not on the activity.
