Terms of Service

These Terms are provided for information and should be reviewed by a qualified legal professional before launch. They do not constitute legal advice.

1. Agreement to the Terms

By creating a MOOV account or using MOOV, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Community Guidelines and Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use MOOV.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use MOOV. Members under the age of digital consent in their region need a parent or guardian's approval. You must be able to form a binding contract and not be barred from using MOOV under applicable law.

3. Your account

You are responsible for your account and its activity, including keeping your password safe. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide. One person, one account.

4. Your responsibilities

You use MOOV at your own risk and are responsible for your own safety, for obeying local laws (including traffic laws), and for the content you post and the events you organize or join.

5. User-generated content

You keep ownership of the content you create on MOOV — routes, activities, photos, posts and event details — and grant us the license needed to host, display and operate the service with it.

You must not post content that violates the Community Guidelines, infringes others' rights, or exposes another person's private information or location without their consent.

6. Groups and events

Group owners and event organizers are responsible for the communities and activities they run on MOOV, including approving members, setting expectations and behaving lawfully. MOOV is not the organizer of member-created events and does not verify the safety of routes or participants.

7. GPS and location features

GPS recording, check-ins and route features depend on your device and environment, and their accuracy can vary. In the current web version, accurate recording requires keeping MOOV open; statistics are honest estimates, not certified measurements.

Do not manipulate GPS data or check-ins to earn achievements, rankings or any other benefit — see Fair Play.

8. Safety responsibilities

MOOV is not an emergency service. Always contact local emergency services in an emergency. Follow the Safety Center guidance, use judgment when meeting people, and never engage in dangerous competition on public roads.

9. Prohibited behavior

In addition to the Community Guidelines, you must not:

  • •Use MOOV for any illegal purpose
  • •Harass, threaten or defame other members
  • •Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
  • •Scam, spam, or distribute malware
  • •Manipulate GPS data, achievements or rankings
  • •Interfere with the operation or security of the platform
  • •Scrape the service or access it through automated means without permission

10. Intellectual property

The MOOV name, logo, design and software belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy them for commercial use without permission. Respect the intellectual property of others in the content you post.

11. Platform availability

We aim to keep MOOV available and improving, but we can't promise uninterrupted or error-free service. Features may change, and some capabilities (such as the route catalog rollout) are delivered gradually.

12. Disclaimers

MOOV IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. GPS and map data may be inaccurate or incomplete.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MOOV and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for losses arising from your use of the platform, your participation in events or your interactions with other members. This section requires professional legal review for your jurisdiction.

14. Account suspension and termination

We may restrict, suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Community Guidelines, remove content, and exclude activities from rankings, depending on severity. You can stop using MOOV and delete your account at any time.

15. Changes to the service and the Terms

MOOV evolves. We may change features, and we may update these Terms — significant changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use MOOV after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
