Why is my distance different from another GPS device?

Different devices and filters produce slightly different results.

Every GPS device samples at different intervals and smooths noise differently, so distances rarely match exactly. A difference of a few percent between MOOV and a cycling computer or sports watch is normal.

MOOV filters implausible jumps conservatively, which usually produces a slightly shorter, more honest distance than raw GPS data.
